Mental health in the UK is grossly underfunded, with too many people receiving no help at all.
Each year one in four UK residents experience a mental health problem, from mild depression right through to a more serious mental health condition.
These mental health problems often lead to hundreds of thousands of lives being put on hold or ruined, with thousands of tragic and unnecessary deaths.
With the right support and treatment, mental illness doesn’t have to be a barrier to a fulfilling life.
HELP The Mental Health Charity Scunthorpe aims to provide advice, support and donations to people affected by mental illness.
In order to meet our mission and provide services in the community, we rely on the generosity of individuals and businesses for support.
Without the assistance of community-minded individuals, businesses and organisations, we would not be able to support the vulnerable suffering from mental illness.
“Giving is not just about making a donation …its about making a difference”
If you would like to help, please call the Scunthorpe charity office on 07415 115 306.
