HELP The Mental Health Charity

Supporting People Affected by Mental Health Problems

Mental health in the UK is grossly underfunded, with too many people receiving no help at all. Your donation can help.

Each year one in four UK residents experience a mental health problem, from mild depression right through to a more serious mental health condition.

These mental health problems often lead to hundreds of thousands of lives being put on hold or ruined, with thousands of tragic and unnecessary deaths.

With the right support and treatment, mental illness doesn’t have to be a barrier to a fulfilling life.

HELP The Mental Health Charity aims to provide advice, support and donations to people affected by mental illness.

In order to meet our mission and provide services in the community, we rely on the generosity of individuals and businesses for support. Each donation goes towards helping people affected with mental health.

Without the assistance of community-minded individuals, businesses and organisations, we would not be able to support the vulnerable suffering from mental illness.

“Giving is not just about making a donation …its about making a difference”

You can help the charity by volunteering, fundraising, donating goods you no longer require, items from a house clearance or a monetary donation.

If you would like to help or make a donation, please email mandyjanemcdermott@gmail.com or call 07415 115 306.

Your donations go towards improving the lives of people suffering with poor mental health.

HELP US TO HELP OTHERS

Donating to the causes you care about not only benefits the charities themselves, it can be deeply rewarding too. Millions of people give donations to charity on a regular basis to support causes they believe in, as well as for the positive effect it has on their own lives. The knowledge that you’re helping others is hugely empowering and, in turn, can make you feel happier and more fulfilled. Research has identified a link between making a donation to charity and increased activity in the area of the brain that registers pleasure – proving that as the old adage goes, it really is far better to give than to receive. We are grateful for anything you can donate to support people suffering from mental health.

HELP The Mental Health Charity needs your donations – to support people affected by mental health.
